Werd Beta Update

Now with even more user info!

Werd Beta has been updated with the following changes:

User info will show if a user is a moderator
User info will show someone's Mercury status so you can shame them into subscribing!
Fixed a problem where usernames may appear incorrectly when expanding a post

Everyone can get Werd for any Windows 10 device here

If you want to be added to the beta channel, let me know by sending me a SM with the email address you use as your MSA on the Windows Store.

  I had to make some changes to the winchatty API for this feature which electroly graciously published tonight.
  
  It'll take a full chatty cycle for every post to get the additional user info associated with it so if you're looking at an older thread the mercury status and mod info may not be shown. Everything should be good to go in ~14 hours.

    When starting a reply, a lot of times the focus doesn't go into the edit box so when you start typing, the keys are throwing you all over the place in different threads/etc. This doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen. Not sure if this is even something you can do with it or if its a Windows thing, but wanted to make you aware.

      Are you using the split view or no? Are you using a hotkey to start the reply or clicking with the mouse? You're the second person that's mentioned this to me so I definitely need to look into something, just need to narrow down what the root cause(s) are

        Happens to me too. Using split view, and I am not using any hot keys I’m aware of. Think it’s the same issue from before.
        
        Another minor issue I found:
        After an app update, it shows “what’s new.”
        if you use the app, don’t close it, and let the computer sleep, when the computer wakes, the app will show “what’s new” screen again.
        
        You need to close it once after an update to prevent it from doing that.

        Yeah that's a long standing bug and I genuinely don't know why it happens. All the code that's there should be saving it but it's not working unless you close the app. I haven't cared enough to dig deeper into it

        So I am using split view and I click Reply with the mouse. I am using the newest beta as well, but this has been happening for a while. Thanks for looking into it, and glad to know I'm not the only one.
