Buffy has always been a snorter. She breaths through her mouth a lot. We thought it was cute at first, but soon realized that it could be a bad thing. Luckily, when we picked up our kittens 5 months ago, we opted in for Pet Insurance through Trupanion. This is the first time we've ever had pet insurance. Our very first claim for a 400$ procedure was denied. Why? Because my wife wrote down "The breeder said she'd been doing this before we picked her up" and just like that, all procedures that have to do with her breathing and nose are now not covered. So, if this ends up being a HUGE issue that requires surgery, we're pretty much screwed. Thanks, Trupanion glad we could count on you.
