IllFonic continues to provide updates and support for the 4v1 asymmetrical game. Sometime today players can jump into Spirits Unleashed & experience the brand new ghost for the DLC, Muncher (as seen in the latest live action film ‘Ghostbusters Afterlife’) Is the brand-new playable ghost added, for free to all owners of Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed. That adds a total of 6 playable ghost types! Muncher will be his own class, in case fans are wondering, and will feature two variants!
A new Ghost isn’t the only thing players can enjoy with this big DLC update. A new map has also been added to the game. Dubbed, ‘The Facility’, IllFonic’s take on what appears to be some form of medical center or Hospital. Think that’s all? Well, there’s even more.
New firehouse additions are also being added, this includes the game’s new ‘Gear Shells’ mechanic which is IllFonic’s new transmog system to let you pick the visual style of your equipment, new patches to add to your busters outfit and the addition of two new gadgets. The ‘Belt Gizmo’ & ‘Disruptor Pylon’. Both will add a new level of tactics used by both ghosts, & Ghostbuster. Again, all of this is available starting January 31st, 2023!
