Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance 2020 where we honor the people we have lost over the years. Hate, depression, and a lot of other environmental factors lead to trans people dying, being murdered, or even committing suicide at alarmingly high rates. On July 31, 2020, Shacknews aired a Trans Inclusion Panel as part of IGDA Foundation's Play It Forward event. I was honored to be the moderator. Today is a day for acknowledging the systemic issues that plague trans people. Any day is a good day to remind folks that trans rights are human rights, but I couldn't let today slip by without doing something special for Shacknews.
