I've been loving my time in Call of the Wild: The Angler, and the main fish that I chase in that game is the Northern Pike. These fish can grow to be quite big, and I've always wanted to catch one. Since it hasn't worked out in real life, I was excited to chase giant pike in this gorgeous open world. After struggling to get one for over a month, I landed five of them in a matter of a couple of days, all thanks to my secret Northern Pike spot.

Diamond Pike #4 was by far the largest of the bunch, and the fight reflected that. When you're using the same rod, reel, and line over and over, and catching lots of Gold and Diamond Northern Pike, you really get a feel for when you have one on your line that's going to be huge, and #4 felt like a monster.
Now that I've scratched my Diamond Northern Pike itch, I've started working on other species of fish. Mostly just exploring and trying lots of different things, but every now and then I go back to that secret spot and try a few casts.
