Gamescom had its opening day/night/thing and there were quite a few interesting games/announcements revealed during the show. That being said, let's jump right into it.
One of the games I'm looking forward to is Sonic Frontiers. I enjoy the Sonic games that have that 3D atmosphere and exploration similar to Sonic Adventure. Now I know prior Sonic games like this have failed but the trailer gives me a little bit of optimism in thinking this could be a good game. The Nov releases date was a good thing to see but there's going to be plenty of competition for Nov releases.
I'm holding the same hope for the New Tales from the Borderlands game. I loved the first Tales from the Borderlands game and going into that one I didn't know anything about the Borderlands series. That being said, the initial art didn't do anything for me but the trailer shown got the project back on my good side.
There were a few more games I'm going to keep my eye on. Friends VS Friends has that shooter meets card-player genre covered. Honkai:Star Rail is a game the first time I saw it mentioned it looked like a game I would be interested in. That being said, the devs behind that are the Genshin Impact folks so you can bring that to Switch sooner rather than later. The Killer Clowns from Outer Space game I think caught everyone by surprise and the same can be said for the Pokemon Pikachu car announced. Hellcat is another game that I'll be looking out for.
Time to wrap this up by saying keep watching the Stevetendo show and to enjoy a song!
