Slept in until 3:30 AM, with no plan. Checked the weather and it was stars outside my door, so I went for a drive. I choose poorly, and Mt. Index was too cloudy. So I went back near home and walked the beach.

I went for a short drive for pictures today. I walked the beach at Mukilteo and took mostly macro/close-up photos.

Sunrise was mostly a bust, but there was a little color. I took a few landscape pictures in Everett and Mukilteo, but mostly I took close-ups on the beach. About 19 photos, so going to break them up into different categories.
I drove out to Index hoping for a sunrise view of Mt. Index. I arrived at 6:15, but didn't like the conditions, so I went back. Stopped at Sultan Bakery for donuts, had a nice drive, then went to the beach.
A view of Everett at 7:34 AM. Center/left is Jetty Island, a nice sandy beach that kite surfers use. To the right is Naval Station Everett. 3440x1440

This guy was taking photos of an egret. I didn't have my telephoto lens on, so I wasn't worried about it, but you can kind of see it at the tip of the land. 8:10 AM

Looking at this post on desktop, and there's sooooooo much clicking. Have to click to open each individual reply. Then have to click to open each individual picture. Then have to click back and click again to go to the next picture.
If it was all in your Cortex article I would have just smoothly scrolled through the pics and enjoyed them.
But this way? I can't even be bothered.
