Titan Attacks! and Revenge of the Titans coming to PS4, PS3 and Vita

The prolific PlayStation porting team at Curve has announced it's bringing yet more PC games over to Sony's systems, in the form of Titan Invasion for PlayStation 4, PS3, and Vita. It's actually a double-pack, containing Puppygames' arcade shooter Titan Attacks! and its tower defense sequel Revenge of the Titans.

Futuridium EP Deluxe brings arcadey space shooting to Vita

Spaceships are great, and blowing them up is even better, and blowing up giant spaceships with strafing runs across the vast hulls is best of all. Enter Futuridium EP, a retro-styled space shooter which is making its way from PC and iOS to Vita in revamped 'Deluxe' form.

FTL: Advanced Edition adding Hard Mode, Clone Bay

The stresses of FTL mean captains can become awfully attached to their crew, whether as individuals with their own names or simply as walking stat buffs, so their deaths can be tragic. Handily, the upcoming Enhanced Edition revamp will introduce a Clone Bay to bring lost crew back as good as new. Or, well, almost. It's not quite that simple, of course.

WildStar trailer showcases branching 'Adventure' instances

Repeating instances in an MMORPG is generally only done to farm them, not for the fun of it, as they're awfully repetitive. WildStar's taking a different approach with its 'Adventures,' a type of instance with branching routes and stories which change how it all plays out. They're can be quite different to regular play too, with types from tower defense to MOBAs.

Snow adds Sochi-inspired 'Fochi' slopestyle course

The stunt-tastic skiing discipline of slopestyle made its Olympic debut at Sochi 2014, sending skiers hurtling over ramps and grinding down rails. If you fancy having a crack yourself without cracking a rib, why, you're in luck, as Snow has added a cheeky 'Fochi 2014' slopestyle run to its Early Access release.

Ryse on sale at $40 as new multiplayer DLC nears

Ryse: Son of Rome may have been one of the big shiny exclusives at the heart of the Xbox One launch lineup but, well, it wasn't all that great. To stir up a little interest as it continues its DLC plans, Microsoft is running a week-long download sale bringing Ryse down to $39.99. It's also unveiled the second DLC pack, Mars' Chosen, which adds a new co-op Survival Mode.

Killer Is Dead coming to PC in May

Suda51's cybernetic executioner Mondo Zappa is coming over from consoles to PC. Killer Is Dead, released on Xbox 360 and PS3 last year, is coming to PC on May 9 at the budget price of $19.99, publisher Deep Silver announced today. It's packing a few extras too, coming with the DLC and a new 'Nightmare' difficulty mode.

Turn-based JRPG Fairy Fencer F coming westward

If you like your RPG combat turn-based and your weapons imbued with the souls of fairies, perhaps keep an eye out for Fairy Fencer F. Released in Japan last October, the RPG by Record of Agarest War developer Compile Heart's RPG is coming to North America this fall courtesy of NIS America, the publisher has announced.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F serenading Vita in March

Japan's favourite virtual popstar Hatsune Miku is almost set to begin touring on Vita. Sega has confirmed that its handled version of the vocaloid songstress's rhythm game Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F will arrive on March 4. It'll support Cross-Buy with PlayStation 3 for the DLC--but not the full game.

New game releases of February 17-23

Next week brings oodles of new games, including bug-squisher Earth Defense Force 2025, town-builder Banished, the next-gen versions of jumper Rayman, murder-y jumper Strider, ape simulator Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and an Early Access release for mankind-destroyer Plauge Inc: Evolved on PC. Oh, and a new Dreamcast game.
