As befits a game about cloning yourself, The Swapper is multiplying onto PlayStation 4, PS3, and Vita. Facepalm Games' sci-fi puzzle-platformer is fizzing away in Sony test tubes at Curve Studios, the folks behind PlayStation ports of PC games from Proteus to Thomas Was Alone.

StarDrive 2 blasting off in September

As recently as 2012, I could approach people in the street, look them square in the eye and ask their opinions on space, only to receive a blank-faced reply of "Never 'eard of it guv." But now, oh now everyone adores space! Riding that rocket to the stars, StarDrive creator Zero Sum Games has announced a sequel to its spaceborne 4X strategy game, logically titled StarDrive 2.

Command & Conquer Renegade free 'spiritual successor' released

The Command & Conquer series had already settled into its slow decline by the time shooter spin-off Renegade came out in 2002, but an interesting multiplayer side a bit like Battlefield with C&C bases made it more than a cash-grab. It clearly inspired deep love in some as, after eight years of development, the fans at Totem Arts have finally released their free UDK-powered "spiritual successor" Renegade X into open beta.

What's better than one giant stompy mech? Hundreds of the blighters, all smashing each other to pieces for giggles. Enter Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn, the latest in Tecmo Koei's mechtastic spin-off from the hack 'n' slash series. Publisher Namco Bandai today announced it's bringing Gundamn Reborn over to North America for a downloadable PlayStation 3 release this summer.

WWE Network on-demand app hits PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360 today

Over 1,500 hours of clotheslines, chokeslams, ladders, chairs, marvellous melodrama, and men in shiny underpants are coming to consoles today with the launch of an app for WWE's new on-demand video service WWE Network. As well as every pay-per-view show, it has oodles of older matches. The app's out today on Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PS3.

Titanfall free in limited Xbox One console bundle

Titanfall is perhaps the first big system-selling exclusive for Xbox One, even though it is on PC and Xbox 360 too. If you're umming and ahhing about picking the console up for it, a new limited edition bundle coming in March may make your mind up, as it essentially adds Titanfall for free into the regular $499.99 package.

DayZ creator to stay at Bohemia until he's not 'needed'

Dean 'Rocket' Hall may have plans to leave Bohemia Interactive and set up his own studio to explore multiplayer survival games, but the DayZ creator has reassured that he'll remain there for as long as he's strictly "needed." He imagines that in a year the zombie apocalypse sim will be fairly complete, and it'll be fine for him to leave and chase his dreams.
