South Park: The Fractured But Whole Will Not Be Coming to Nintendo Switch
Go back about your business, fans. Those were just wild rumors.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole will not be coming to Nintendo Switch, despite the rumors that have been flying since the official Twitter account for the South Park TV show mentioned Nintendo earlier this week.
In what was likely a reference to blizzard conditions hitting the northeastern United States this week, the show tweeted an animated gif of Cartman shivering and covered in snow, with the caption "Nin-ten-do. I'm coming. I'm coming, Nin-ten-do #blizzard2017." The scene was from a Season 10 storyline in 2006 where Cartman was pursuing a Nintendo Wii and tried to freeze himself so he could be thawed out once the new console hit shelves three weeks later.

Of course, that did not keep speculation from running rampant that a Switch announcement was coming soon. Unfortunately for fans, a spokeman for the show told IGN that the tweet was not a reference to the Switch. "South Park: The Fractured But Whole won’t be coming to [the Nintendo] Switch," the spokesman said.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole was originally slated to come out last December, but delayed to Q1 of this year " to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans." However, last month, Ubisoft revealed in an earning's call that the game had been pushed back yet again to sometime between April 2017 and March 2018, corresponding to Ubi's next fiscal year.
