Razer recently sent over their newest keyboard, the Razer Black Widow Chroma V2, for us to unbox and review. This time around, Razer has upgraded a few different things within the keyboard itself, giving users a choice between the usual two mechanic switch types, Orange and Green.

They've also added an entirely new switch type to the mix, though, with Yellow. This new variant of the tried and true mechanical switches offers an even faster press time than before. Thankfully they've also included a nifty "try it first" opening on the box, so you can see which key works best for you.

Although it's hard to really differentiate between the switches in writing or video, Razer was thoughtful enough to include a spot on each box where potential customers can try out each switch type, allowing them to see which switch feels right beneath their fingertips.

The Razer Black Widow Chroma V2 also comes with a nice, comfy wrist rest, which magnetizes and connects easily to the keyboard itself. It's actually one of the most comfortable wrist rests I've ever used with a keyboard, and throughout my time testing the new peripheral, I never found my hands aching or hurting from long periods of use.
