A recent discovery suggests there’s a very good possibility we might see Fire Emblem Fates ported to the Nintendo Switch.

As discovered by a NeoGAF user, the source code on Nintendo’s official page for Fire Emblem Warriors on Nintendo Switch directly mentions “Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation for Nintendo Switch” in the alt text.

Revelations was the third campaign released as DLC for the dual-released Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright and Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest. Speculation suggests all three campaigns may be bundled and released together on the Nintendo Switch hybrid console.

This rumor will be proved either true or false later today during Nintendo’s Fire Emblem Direct scheduled for 2pm PT, where we’ll learn more about the future of the strategy RPG franchise. Currently, we know there will be a Fire Emblem mobile game for smartphones and a Nintendo/Dynasty Warriors crossover in Fire Emblem Warriors on the Nintendo Switch.
