Where's the Forza Horizon 3 Xbox One demo? [Update: It's here!]
Microsoft promised to have a demo of Forza Horizon 3 on Xbox One last night, so what happened and where can we download it?
Update: Moments after publishing our story, Microsoft has finally made the demo available.
Original Story:
If you rushed to your Xbox One this morning in hopes to find the Forza Horizon 3 demo, you were most likely severely disappointed due to the fact there’s currently no demo available to download.
So what happened?
Well - apparently a few days ago, a Windows Store listing for the Forza Horizon 3 demo popped up showing a release date of 8:00pm EST on September 11. Many fans of the Forza Horizon series attempted to curb their excitement for the demo, although once the time came, the demo suddenly became at its current “Not Available” state. As of this writing, the demo listing still says “9/11/2016, 8:00:00 PM,” which makes this entire ordeal even more curious.
The only information we have regarding the demo is from the official Forza Motorsport Twitter account which says “We are getting closer to the release of #ForzaHorizon3 and will be sharing more details on demo plans very soon. Stay tuned!”
We’ve reached out to Microsoft for clarification as to when we can expect the Forza Horizon 3 demo to be released on Xbox One. In the meantime, don’t go running to your consoles just yet as you’ll be severely disappointed, just like we were. In the meantime, check out our interview with Turn 10 Studios on Forza Horizon 3 at E3 2016.

They should not allow people who haven't even downloaded these things to review them. lol
Also, they haven't confirmed one way or another if there will be a PC version of the demo at all. Apparently they're doing an twitch stream and deleting comments even asking about it. Very poor communication. Perhaps you could get an official word from Microsoft or Playground or even Turn 10?-
I'll see what we can do. I know numerous other outlets have reached out to Microsoft about a PC Demo as well, so hopefully we will hear something soon.
I agree with you completely. Reviews should require a download and at least 5 minutes of playtime, or some other metric before allowing users to rate things.
