Edge of Nowhere, Insomniac's Rift exclusive adventure game, hits the map tomorrow
It's time for the adventure of a lifetime.
Insomniac Games’ Rift exclusive adventure game, Edge of Nowhere, is finally finding its way onto the Oculus Store this coming week. The game, which was first announced last year, is a third person adventure game sporting Lovecraftian horror tropes, and a thrilling adventure in the snowy mountains of Antarctica. It’s a psychological thriller which is sure to mess with the mind.
We got to preview the game back in April, and it was quite a thrilling experience.
Developed specifically for Virtual Reality, Edge of Nowhere looks to put players face first into the horror adventure, as well as test the sanity of all who dare to enter, using the power of the Oculus Rift to completely immerse players in the experience.
Edge of Nowhere will be released exclusively on the Oculus Store this Monday, June 6. You can check out the launch trailer above.

After playing for about two hours I can say it doesn't bother me at all. Also most of the time you spend in dark caves so it doesn't matter anyway.
The game is fun, jump scares are pretty effective in vr. Combat is pretty good. I only wish it was slightly less linear, I want to explore this world more. Anyway the game is great and apart from Lucky’s Tale the only one I can think of that feels like a full vr game that is also vr exclusive.
