The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD: Zelda Wii U Easter Eggs
If you know where and when to look, you can see a little reference to the upcoming (yet-untitled) Zelda Wii U inside The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is the second remake to appear on the Wii U, but it has a small Easter egg regarding the next main-series entry, the as-of-yet untitled "Zelda Wii U." This guide will explain where to find the Easter eggs.
Once you are able to access Hyrule Castle Town, find Chudley's Fine Goods and Fancy Trinkets Emporium in the southeast corner of the main town hub. Chudley's Fine Goods was almost exclusively a gag in the original, featuring fairly standard items that are set at prices far too high for Link to afford. It was also the location of the Magic Armor, which could be obtained after completing a quest. The building is eventually converted into the Malo Mart and offers more reasonable prices, but to see the Easter egg, you need to look while it's still Chudley's Fine Goods.
As in the original, you can gain access to Chudley's Fine Goods by getting your shoes polished by a boy outside the store for 10 rupees. Looking good is simply a necessity for such a high-end store.
In Twilight Princess HD, the shop is adorned with artwork from the upcoming Zelda Wii U. The walls have framed portraits of the first artwork we saw for Zelda Wii U: the expansive look at Hyrule Field with Link on the back of Epona in the center. Behind the counter is a portrait of the grove where Link was attacked in one of the early trailers. Smaller framed pictures on the counter itself are just smaller versions of the same two pieces of artwork.
