Google has announced it will update its Google Play app to allow users to upload their memorable gaming moments directly to YouTube.
Google has announced it has upgraded its Google Play app to allow users to record and share their favorite gaming moments directly to YouTube.
The process of sharing these moments has been streamlines as users will pick a game they want to play, then tap the record button. The app allows users to capture their gameplay in either 720p or 480p, as well as the option to add a video of themselves adding commentary to the action, all of which is done using their device’s front-facing camera and microphone. Once they’re done recording, they can quickly edit and upload their video directly to YouTube.
The Google Play update will begin rolling out to US and UK users in the next few days, with more countries expected to receive the update shortly after.
