Rocket League rides with Mutators update in November
There are going to be more ways to play Rocket League in November, as developer Psyonix is adding a new update called Mutators that introduces a slew of custom game variants.
Rocket League is already something of a frantic game on its own with enough tense moments to create an unending series of highlight reels. (Yes, that includes our own.) Now developer Psyonix is taking the next step in growing the rocket-powered ball game by introducing a new update that introduces a series of custom game variants.
Called "Mutators," this Rocket Update will feature a variety of new custom presets for custom games. This includes new modes like "Moonball," which decreases the arena's gravity, and game modes like "Cubic" and "Time Warp" that are making their return from Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars. Another new game mode will be based on the great Canadian sport of hockey, but details on this addition have not been revealed at this time. Players will also be able to mix and match these custom games through the Mutator Mashup playlist.
This update will arriveMore information on the Mutators update will be revealed during Psyonix's developer stream, which is set to take place on its Twitch channel this Thursday at 2PM PT. In the meantime, check out the video below.
