E3 2015: Star Wars: Battlefront gets new gameplay footage
It has been almost 10 years since the last Star Wars: Battlefront game released. Now, featuring stunning graphics, we get a closer look at what to expect this fall.
The first reveal for the new Star Wars Battlefront game showed Rebel vs Stormtrooper action like never before, and the presentation that followed left quite an impression. Now at EA pre-E3 2015 press conference, we get a deeper look at what's in store this fall when the game releases on November 17th.
DICE revealed actual gameplay footage, revealing more of its Walker Assault game mode. Rebels could be seen scrambling inside their Hoth base, preparing for a Stormtrooper onslaught. AT-AT and AT-ST walkers could be seen patrolling, while a Star Destroyer could be spotted in the distance. Meanwhile, there was air combat up above, as well, with Rebal X-Wings and snow speeders taking on Imperial TIE Fighters and walkers. And yes, there was footage of the iconic tow cable wrapping up the AT-AT's legs.
The demo was soon joined by some iconic Star Wars characters, as each side had unlocked Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.
All footage was captured on PlayStation 4, but Star Wars Battlefront is also set to come to PC and Xbox One on November 17.
During PlayStation's E3 showcase, an even newer video was shown of Star Wars Battlefront. Here's that video:
