“We’ve crossed the 1 million pre-order milestone and it’s all thanks to you guys! We would like to thank all the gamers for their trust and support,” CD PROJEKT RED co-founder Marcin Iwinski tells Shacknews. “This is the last stretch and we’re pushing hard -- over the last two weeks, we’ve increased performance on all platforms and started working full speed on the expansions, Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine.”

The graphics in the gameplay videos that have been posted are much better than The Witcher 2. There's a ton more foliage and AI characters, and they're all animated and moving. Faces are more expressive. It feels like a more active world.
The comparison shots you're posting are from trailers that are more than a year old. Game development necessitates making changes to visual fidelity over time. These complaints about The Witcher 3 are just as dumb as they were about Watch Dogs or Dark Souls 2.
