Microsoft has plans to release a limited edtion Xbox One console for Halo 5: Guardians, according to 343 Studios head Josh Holmes.

Holmes confirmed the existence of the Xbox One console on Twitter last night amid replies he made to a number of users. “There is a limited edition console coming, yes,” he says. “It hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s pretty sweet.” Holmes soon deleted his tweet, which we’re not at all surprised considering he just released unannounced information.

It shouldn’t come as a complete surprise to hear Microsoft is working on a limited edition Xbox One console for an upcoming Halo game considering nearly every Halo game released has received its own special console. We saw an Xbox 360 console release for Halo: Reach and Halo 4, and we were sure they’d have plans to release an Xbox One for Halo 5: Guardians.
