As of now, there’s no word on just how far ahead Xbox One owners will be able to play Star Wars: Battlefront. Nearly a week prior to the launch of Battlefield Hardline, EA Access offered a 10-hour trial of the game, which may be the possible route EA takes with Battlefront’s head start on Xbox One.
A special Star Wars: Battlefront event will be taking place during this week’s Star Wars Celebration which will include the first public debut. Hopefully EA will have more information to share regarding the Xbox One’s Battlefront head start then.

These are less annoying than console exclusives, but I do still have the irrational dream that some day Microsoft will announce that it will be available on PC early too.
I thought the new management was about stopping division rivalry at MS that made the XBox people compete against the windows people?
EA Access is great excuse for being separate, but it isn't like Origin isn't an EA exclusive thing on Windows that could be leveraged the same way. -
