Evolve's real monster is a 3GB day-one patch
Looking forward to playing Evolve this week? Well, you're going to have to be a little more patient as a 3GB day-one patch has been let loose.
2K Games and Turtle Rocks Studios’ Evolve is making its official debut on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in just a few hours, but if you have plans on picking the game up once it officially releases, you’re going to have to wait just a bit longer as a 3GB day-one patch has been let out of its cage.
The day-one patch will improve load times in matchmaking, optimize network bandwidth, and improve connectivity with the recently-released Evolve Hunters Quest app. General bug fixes based on community feedback from both the Big Alpha and Open Beta will also be implemented as well as new elite skins for Hunters and Monsters.
For the full list of patch features, head on over to Evolve's official website.
If you’re on the fence whether or not you should be getting Evolve this week, head on over to our review to see if it the game is worth a full retail price at this point, or if you should consider picking it up sometime down the line.
Or, you know, just skip it entirely.
