Codename S.T.E.A.M. will be released on the Nintendo 3DS on March 13, 2015, Nintendo announced in a brand-new trailer for the title during The Game Awards.

Codename S.T.E.A.M. was announced earlier this year during E3 2014 as a new title being developed by Advance Wars creators, Intelligent Systems. The title is a turn-based strategy game whose story focuses on a team brought together by Abraham Lincoln to fight aliens. Units in Codename S.T.E.A.M. run on the power of steam, which is also the limited resource used to power their attacks.

A new gameplay trailer was also shown during The Game Awards this evening that shows off the title’s interesting steampunk world and cartoonish art style. The game has definitely piqued my interest and if anything, it just makes me want a new Valkyria Chronicles even more so.
