EA Doing Quake3 PSX2 Port

Word has been going around for a while about the possible Playstation2 port of Quake3, most recently the rumors (Thanks Telefragged)have been that BullFrog (part of EA) was handling the port. Well I just got confirmation from Todd Hollenshead over at id Software on it, here ya go:

Todd: Actually, it's officially being done by EA.  Lot's of different teams may have roles in the development of it.   Of course we will oversee it like we do on all ports.
Me: Miss me in Texas yet?
Todd: Every day.
