Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft will be expanding to iPhones and Android phones in early 2015, Blizzard announced in a blog post today.

Blizzard revealed they were close to releasing versions of Hearthstone onto smartphones, but said they needed “a little more time to get that version right.” One area of the title the game that has been rather difficult to implement onto mobile devices has been its user interface. Because of this challenge, Blizzard says iPhone and Android phone users can expect their version of the game to be released in early 2015.

As for Android tablet owners, it looks like that version of Hearthstone is still expected to be released by the end of the year, which I guess is kind of good news. Although getting Hearthstone to work on iPhones and Android phones will help keep us who are addicted to the game the fix we need while we’re on the go.
