Star Wars: The Old Republic falls under the Shadow of Revan on December 9
EA and BioWare have a new story-based expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic, one that sees Jedi and Sith alike confronted by an old enemy.
EA and BioWare have some new content to bestow upon Star Wars: The Old Republic users in the form of a new story expansion. The expansion, titled Shadow of Revan, will hit the game on December 9.
The story follows the fallen hero Revan, as he leads the extremist Order of Revan faction with the intent to destroy both the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. The Shadow of Revan expansion will offer five story missions, an increased level cap to 60, and new high-level Flashpoints and Operations. Players can carry out their missions across new worlds, such as Rishi and Yavin 4.
Though Star Wars: The Old Republic is free-to-play, the Shadow of Revan expansion will carry a $19.99 price tag, regardless of subscriber status. Those that pre-order by November 2 will unlock the new expansion a week early and also receive a Grand Statue of Revan to display in their player stronghold. They'll also get the Rise of Hutt Cartel expansion, if they don't have it already. Those that pre-order after November 2, but before December 1, will get the pre-order goodies, but won't get the early access period. Subscribers that pre-order will get a 12x experience boost through December 1 and get class story mission access through Level 55.
