Oculus picks up Halo art director to head '1st-party content team'

Oculus VR has picked up another industry veteran, this time from the Halo series. Halo 4 senior art director Kenneth Scott has joined Oculus, in order to build first-party content for the device.
Oculus announced the hire on Twitter (via IGN), saying, "Ken is building our 1st-party content team!" Scott left 343 Industries to be with his family, after his wife (programmer Corrinne Yu) took a job at Naughty Dog.
The company has picked up former talent from id Software and Valve, so it's turning into quite the who's-who of established developers. Scott's influence will probably still be seen in the next Halo game.

Well... working on a new engine to run a game for Oculus would kind of be part of a content creating team... more so than if he was purely working on the hardware/drivers side of the company.
Judging by the kind of guy Carmack is, I'd imagine he'd be involved in all parts of that kind of development. Basically whatever interests him. Considering the knowledge and experience he has it would seem completely insane if he was not involved in some aspects of whatever 1st party software they might be coming up with. How could he not be?
