Star Wars: The Old Republic 'Galactic Stronghold' rollout delayed

BioWare has pushed back the rollout of Star Wars: The Old Republic's Galactic Stronghold expansion. Subscriber early access is moving from June 24 to August 19, and the deadline for getting those rewards has been moved from May 11 to July 15. The official launch will be coming in October instead of August.
This all comes from a letter (via Massively) from producer Bruce Maclean. Another update is planned for this summer before Galactic Strongholds hits, and Maclean said the roadmap for that update is forthcoming.
"When playing early builds of Galactic Strongholds it became that clear that our June Early Access date was simply not enough," he stated in the letter. "For this to truly feel like an expansion, it needs to include the full set of features, including those originally coming later in the year. ... The result will be a far more compelling experience, including additional features such as the ability to place your vehicles and pets in your Stronghold and for Guilds to conquer planets."

While this MMO had one of the best single player aspects with 100% voice overs the f2p model really needs to be revamped imo. While I'm guessing it does work there are games like Rift which offer a much better experience with its f2p model. I did sub to SWTOR until end game (lvl 55 cap) then quit, but its f2p model kinda makes u "want" to sub... so I did. Not worth hanging around though. : /
Having said all that I hope it succeeds! :)
