Oculus Rift is no stranger to VR film programming. However, an upcoming nature documentary piqued our interest. Titled Conquest of the Skies, Atlantic Productions' virtual-reality nature film will be narrated by Planet Earth's David Attenborough.

"We're now filming for the Oculus Rift," Atlantic director John Morris told RealScreen (via VideoGamer), "so when we filmed our recent flight in Borneo, we filmed with an eight-camera rig, so you got the full 360 degree experience."

While it's unclear how the film will be broadcast, it's likely that Facebook's recent acquisition of Oculus will accelerate plans to sell VR content of all types, not just games.
