awesome, what made people think it was in the game?

IIRC there were some hints dropped by DICE employees in a few interviews, and then they made some tweets. a number of servers were even set aside by players for Megaladon hunting, to try and figure it out. i dont remember if the DICE folks specifically said it was on Paracel Storm, or if everyone just figured well..... a giant shark is probably going to be on a water based map, which made paracel storm the obvious choice.
the "hunt" for this thing has been going on for months.
i wonder however, if this was always in the game, or if maybe they added it in during one of the big patches, in response to the pretty massive stir it caused in the community. i would like to think it was always there.-
