EA and DICE have done plenty of promotion work for Battlefield 3's upcoming and seemingly final downloadable content, End Game. Curiously missing from the various bits of promotion was any word of a release date, but that just left us open for a sneak attack. The DLC starts hitting tomorrow.

According to the Battlefield Blog, the DLC will be available first for PlayStation 3 Premium members tomorrow, then PC and Xbox 360 Premium members next week, March 12. The larger PlayStation 3 audience will then get it March 19, followed by PC and Xbox 360 players on March 26. With that, the season of BF3 content draws to a close.

The content will include new vehicles like motorbikes and dropships, four new maps themed after seasons, and the return of Capture the Flag. It will cost $14.99.

so if you'd like the final level of the game you already bought its $15. got it. Perhaps they should name it something else to make that fact less apparent.

        Huh?

Final level? What are you talking about? This is more new maps, vehicles, game types, etc. for the multiplayer, just like the other DLC.

I'm a "video gamer" and I have no problems with it. It's just a week to wait in most cases. The worst part is when DLC is "exclusive" to a platform for a month or longer before other platforms get it, but there's nothing anyone can really do about that.

The screencap on display here is from the last pack, Aftermath. There should be one with the dirtbikes, and/or flags on display.

It's still shit that the PS3 has priority over the PC.

I've been playing an assload of BF3 lately. Pretty fun now that I've gotten back into the swing of things. Soflam question: how do you coordinate usage of this with people? As I understand it, it enables lock ons to do more damage, does it do significantly more?
