Resident Evil 6 is coming March 22, and you can now run a benchmark test to assure your PC is up to snuff.

Resident Evil 6 is preparing for its March 22 release on PC, and you may want to do the same. You can now use a benchmark test to make sure your PC is up to the task of running the game, just in case the system specs weren't enough information for you.

You can download the benchmark test through nVidia (via CVG), or through Shacknews. The PC version adds a "No Mercy" Mercenaries mode and a "No Hope" campaign difficulty, for those hungry for a challenge.

The reception for Resident Evil 6 on consoles has been fairly disheartening for Capcom. It received mixed reviews and poor sales. Capcom has proposed different theories for its failure to connect, from too many Resident Evil games to a lack of focus.

Hey, I bought RE5 a few months ago for PC, haven't played it yet. If anyone is down to play co-op, let me know. I heard it's actually a pretty good game in co-op.

I just ran the benchmark this morning and got 60FPS straight through with a score of 7800. Ran it a second time with AA off and my score lowered. Try turning up your settings!

Why do they release these benchmarks instead of playable demos?
