Resident Evil 6 PC adds 'No Mercy' Mercenaries
Capcom announced today that the PC version of Resident Evil 6 will have a "No Mercy" Mercenaries mode for added difficulty. The company also detailed further DLC roll-out plans for consoles and PC.
When Resident Evil 6 shambles onto PCs on March 22, it will pack an extra punch. We knew it would be getting the "No Hope" campaign difficulty out of the box, but today Capcom announced that it will also tick up the toughness meter on the Mercenaries mode.
The Mercenaries: No Mercy takes the mode and throws more enemies at you, but that also means higher combo scores if you can handle the onslaught. This joins other extras like the ability to play Ada's campaign from the start, and the ability to tune the camera. It will be available digitally for $39.99.
Meanwhile Siege Mode, which centers around a human and creature team trying to respectively defend or kill a BSAA rookie, will be available in March for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It will cost $3.99. The other modes (Survivors, Predator, and Onslaught) will be available for the PlayStation 3 in February at the same price. All four modes will be coming to PC sometime "shortly after" the release on March 22, and Capcom promises future updates will be coming to PC as well.
