Report: Survey proposes Assassin's Creed co-op
A purported Ubisoft survey implies possible features for the next Assassin's Creed game, like co-op and increased inspiration from the Uncharted franchise.
The next time you call in a member of the Brotherhood while playing an Assassin's Creed game, it could be someone from your friend's list. A new survey from Ubisoft is reportedly checking interest in a sequel to Assassin's Creed 3, and co-op play is on the list of possible features.
Gaming Liberty (via Kotaku) reports that the survey refers to the sequel of Assassin's Creed 3, asks some general questions about satisfaction with AC3, and suggests that Connor and/or Desmond could return in future titles. The implication of co-op comes from a section that asks if participants would be interested in playing with a friend. It even asks about Uncharted 3, presumably to gauge whether it should take more notes from the action-adventure series.
A survey doesn't necessarily mean the game is coming or that it will include these features, but Ubisoft has had beans spilled from online surveys before. Both a Rayman sequel and the Revolutionary War era of Assassin's Creed 3 were outed this way before they were officially announced.

Steve Watts posted a new article, Report: Survey proposes Assassin's Creed co-op.

The fact that there isnt co-up already speaks more to the result of them pumping these games out like clockwork instead of taking their time and adding in a new rich feature set with every game....
one of the 'big' features in 3 was the addition of animals.... really??
That isnt to say I dont like AC3, but I wish they would take their time and make a new better playing mechanics instead of it being the same game but in a different time and location...-
this seems like a strange criticism given the pretty bold change in setting with 3 (which meant pretty significant systemic changes to make things like free running in the trees work and be fun) and their previous additions of innovative MP modes and quite a few different systems over the course of each iteration. Obviously they're churning these out but Revelations was really the first one that seemed to universally be felt like a cash in rather than one with real changes (whether or not the execution was top notch).
