Far Cry 3 trailer details co-op campaign
Far Cry 3 gets a new trailer highlighting its separate co-op campaign, which highlights a separate storyline and four different playable characters.
With the December 4 release of Far Cry 3 just around the corner, Ubisoft is keeping the media flowing like a croc-infested jungle river. Today's bit of video highlights the game's co-op campaign, which allows up to four players to participate, and takes place six months prior to the events in the single-player story.
Four new protagonists can be chosen from, including Mick Callum, the foul-mouthed "Scottish thug" who narrates the trailer, Leonard, the "crooked cop," Tisha, the "ex-soldier," and Mikhail, the "Russian hitman." According to the trailer, the motley crew has had their "stash" stolen, and are raring to get it back.
If you're curious about how Far Cry 3's single-player campaign fares, be sure to check out my glowing review. You can also check out the trailers for competitive multiplayer and the map editor, if that strikes your fancy. I'll have a review of the multiplayer modes (including co-op) ready around the time the game launches for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on December 4.
