Battlefield 3: Aftermath continues year of the bow

Aftermath's an urban affair, with four new maps set in an earthquake-shaken Iran. You'll get to silently shoot men's faces with the crossbow, and pootle around in three new vehicles somehow "modified to showcase ingenuity and firepower." Plus, more assignments, dogtags, and whatnot.
It also adds Scavenger mode, described as "an objective-based Conquest mode where lost soldiers armed only with a pistol must search the environment to find more powerful weapons and increasing their chance for survival."
As with previous packs, it has a complex tiered release schedule. Battlefield 3 Premium members on PlayStation 3 will get Aftermath first, on November 27, then it should probably follow for other Premium members on December 4, followed by regular PlayStation 3 players on December 11, and the rest of the plebs on December 18. It'll cost $15 separately, or is included with Premium.

I am not sure, but my favorite server rotates Back to Karkand and Armored Kill, which is totally awesome. It is super easy to find CQ maps still, if you want to rack up kills for unlocks.

Yes and no.
It's definitely harder to find servers that contain just the Vanilla map packs but they are still readily present. DICE definitely handled this better than BF2's boosters and the Spec Ops expansion. This is also better than how BC2 Vietnam was handled.

Agreed. I know people kinda like to bash BF3 and I understand to an extend, but there's such a great variety of gameplay between the original and the booster packs.

I was just playing BF3 when all of a sudden I caught an arrow to the knee.
