The Madden franchise has lacked some flair recently, but we find out that Madden '13 has more invested in it than any other game in the franchise, but Ryan says he's not buying it. Ryan also talks about the new Papo & Yo trailer, which deals with childhood abuse, something the game's creative director has not shied away from discussing. Finally, Mass Effect 3 may be getting even more ending dialogue in the new Leviathan DLC. Ryan warns of spoilers near the end, but says BioWare needs to deal with its insecurity issues.

Not every encouraging news about the gameplay, Ryan.

To me Tiburon has been an utter failure this generation. Madden 12 had half the units sold than the last hurrah for the PS2 (and first 360 version) in Madden 2006. NCAA has lost 2/3 of its units sold in same time frame. While during the same stretch, EA Canada has put out a consistently better product year after year and in the same time frame have doubled FIFA's units sold.

EA can't blame the market or anyone else but themselves and the product they've been putting out in the Madden and NCAA names for the past 6 iterations.

I wonder how many more chances the gang at Tiburan will get?
