iPad games updated for Retina display
Games are beginning to update for the new iPad's Retina display, including Infinity Blade 2 and Mass Effect Infiltrator.
Apple's new iPad has started hitting the hands of early adopters and hipsters alike, and it sports a Retina display screen among other features. "But what can I use all those pixels for?" you might wonder. Fortunately, several games have already updated for iPad Retina Display support.
Touch Arcade lists 18 games with updated support as of last week. The list includes titles like Infinity Blade 2, Mass Effect Infiltrator, Flight Control Rocket, and Monsters Ate My Condo. Various other games have since been updated, or are coming soon, as listed in the Touch Arcade forums.
Before you jump to buy fat stacks of apps, keep in mind that this doesn't necessarily mean the games added hi-res textures. While developers make their adjustments, keep an eye on reviews and general buzz instead of jumping in with both feet.
