UFO Interactive Games has announced Zombie Slayer Diox for the Nintendo 3DS eShop. The side-scrolling rhythm game has you take on the mantle of the samurai-rocker hero, Diox (silent "X") as he slashes through countless zombie hordes to a metal beat. The game is set for release sometime in early 2012.

The announcement doesn't carry a price, but UFO Interactive's other 3DS game, Samurai Sword Destiny, is available for $5.99 on the eShop. Zombie Slayer Diox might come in around that area, if you want to start planning your purchase. Check out a trailer below.
