Developer Rockstar has announced its classic open-world title Grand Theft Auto 3 will arrive on Android and iOS mobile devices on December 15 for $4.99. The release marks the 10th anniversary for Grand Theft Auto 3, which first launched on the PlayStation 2 October 2001 from (the then named) developer DMA Design. Earlier this year, Grand Theft Auto 3 was inducted into the list of Video Game Classics on Shacknews.com, presented by our sister-site MobyGames.com.       Must have optimised it; initially there was no iphone 4 on there; just the 4S IIRC.

      i have extremely low expectations for the controls. i can't imagine they did more than just add some shitty virtual dpad on the screen and called it a day. i guess we'll see and hopefully i'm surprised.

              yep, they sort of did this with chinatown wars but you still need a dpad for it. the controls on the DS that were between the dpad and the stylus were a bit rough

          You can with Android right? I'm curious because if I could run this via Cyanogenmod for my Touchpad and play it with a PS3 controller... well... that would be awesome.

            I've synced a wii remote, including the Classic controller. I imagine a PS3 controller would work too.
