As reported by what's now one my favorite sites, The Register, Bill Gates said on Good Morning America, "...I do wonder if I'd taken the time to go back personally and testify, if we might have done a better job in getting that across." So he's basically claiming that if he had testified himself, that the outcome could have been different. Shoulda coulda woulda I guess :-). Actually, he seems to forget that part near the beginning of his trial where his video testimony was probably some of the most damning to Microsoft's case, as he was lambasted by both the government and the press as a result. Oh well, they'll probably win the appeal anyway. :-)
