One of the gifts I received from my fiancee was The Pacific on Blu-Ray, but she had never seen Band of Brothers. I decided that we should watch that before moving on to The Pacific. We watched all of Band of Brothers over two days as she was instantly addicted. Great show and "Why We Fight" still gets me every time.

I'm hoping The Pacific lives up to Band of Brothers. I saw the first three episodes or so when it premiered, but my HBO subscription lapsed and I didn't resubscribe until Boardwalk Empire was on.
