Autolog will be in Shift 2 Unleashed, which I'm looking forward to much more than I was for Hot Pursuit. Don't get me wrong, I love Criterion, but I'm definitely more in the simulation camp of racing right now.

I mentioned on Merc1 a while ago that this game reminded me of Settlers of Catan and a few people didn't see it.
Lo and behold, someone on SA has a few friends who are planning to do just that on their SMP server. Eat it.-
So while playing in a friend's server I realized the game has sheep, wood, bricks, wheat, and ore...so now we're working on building a giant Settler's of Catan game with a redstone random number generator for the dice. Current plans involve building a skybridge over the "board" and playing the game from there, probably in teams with the leaders above and then some other people on the "hex" spaces to gather the resources and trade with the other teams and build roads and towns.
I think we'll stockpile wool instead of trying to herd sheep...and I'm not sure how Settlers will play out with night attacks from the undead...but that's what I'm dealing with now.

Today I build a bi-directional error free booster in Brickton Ruins.
There is a single booster track between the two single direction tracks in Brickton. There is one button for each track. Pressing the button will launch the booster cart in the correct direction to boost you where you want to go. The 'error free' part come in from there being a latch and delay circuit to 'amplify' the amount of time the button is 'pressed' for. Normally buttons only stay pressed for 1 second, but it normally take the 'work cart' of the boosters 2 to 3 second to complete a loop, so normal boosters using buttons sometimes need to be pressed a few time to get the cart to boost you. This station though automatically keeps the switch activated long enough so the the cart is always sent. This uses a big delay circuit with something like 30 torches (which is why I haven't done this at other stations previously, but the Brickton station has plenty of room under it.-
nice. Ran into a delay circuit like that on the TL server (meant for exiting at a half way station). Stared at it for a few minutes to figure out what it did.

That one was a long time ago, when we turned off the lava nerf. I've investigated that one previously.

I'm a little disappointed with this. If we have no mods on the server and no roll backs might as well shut it down. I wouldn't want to do anything more on it (which pretty much means no players either).
I've been interested in the world files so I could have a copy (after building is finished and before griefing). If you can swing that (ideally with a restored pagoda), great. Either way I'm done with this.-
I'm checking it out Mamiya, just having some problems since some changes in hey0 broke the grief-checking mod for a while there.
I've also had an idea to code a more 'proactive' piece of grief-checking software for a while to catch things like this...but work has gotten in the way recently. Sorry :(
