Last night I was on Foo's server mining for some materials and during a server save I had a tone of lag. Right after this I noticed I could no longer pick up objects. I tried relogging a couple times but it was late so I figured I'd just wait till tonight and see if it was resolved. Well tonight I logged on and saw I have the same problem and I also now seem to be unable to die. Anyone know how to fix these issues?

I'm curious, in the update was minecart speed supposed to of been fixed? It appears as if they are much slower this time around in SMP.

I always hit Ctrl+F and type "Minecr" and that's how I find the thread. The word "Minecraft" is OK colorized, but the rest of the tags are superfluous.
Speaking of tags, how do we use them here? Short of just randomly testing BBcode and HTML, I haven't seen anything about it.

Could someone give me advice on setting up a server, me and a mate are trying to run our own server and i'm sure we've done everything right, have opened the right ports but it's just not having it, i'm really not sure what we're doing wrong, thanks.

Hmm... the only down side to using the BiomeTerrainMod, a lot more down time for updates. Still no update for the Mod, so can't use it with the new server update.

no you have to run with the mod all the time, it completely replaces the world generation code. If you take it back off it reverts back to the old world style.

Blah now I gotta wait for this guy to fix the cave generation... the last update broke it. This is what I got for the cave system on the world I just created.

He should be good -- he had build on Merc1 -- I think he just must have been in a town region and so couldn't build. Also, rev, pre-pend things you want to shout to the whole server with an apostrophe (')
