On November 2, the United States Supreme Court heard opening arguments in the case pitting California state versus the Entertainment Merchants Association and the Entertainment Software Association. Before the big show in front of the Supreme Court, the ECA held a rally in support of the game industry and discussed the proposed law with attendees of the event.

Yesterday, the ECA finally released footage of that event.

Look, reasoned conversation! If my frame of reference for the manners of all gamers were the nightly news and Xbox Live, I'd think everyone at the rally would be firing weapons into the air while screaming obscenities. Maybe that's a different rally.

A ruling on the Schwarzenegger v. EMA case isn't expected until the summer of 2011.

Microsoft should pay a bunch of people to show up just like when Kinect launched. But seriously i hope this picks up steam and more people show up.
