Is it just me or is there no gameplay in there?
Normally gameplay implies ingame footage of someone playing the game...-

Identical to the original on PC? I've read them make those claims on the official forums, but they've yet to show any footage to back it up. In fact, the only actual gameplay footage ever seen makes those claims extremely hard to believe. There was a huge outcry over that leaked gameplay footage, and Bioware/EA went out of their way to make sure everyone that hosted it took it down, and any mention of it on their forums was instantly locked and buried. They then claimed it wasn't indicative of the actual gameplay, and promised a true gameplay trailer would come out. We've waited patiently and what we got was a montage trailer that doesn't show us a damned thing about how the game actually plays.

LOL, awesome reply. Too bad these so called "Role Playing Games" are slowly going extinct. If it were not for indie game companies they would have been already. Sad to see the state of gaming these days. Nowadays apparently all you need to call a game an RPG is some sort of rudimentary skill advancement system and a little dialog.

I understand what an RPG is. My observation is just that this game purports to be a lot more "actiony" than it actually is. You only need to consider the fact that there is no real gameplay in this gameplay trailer to see that. Watching the game itself in motion is very underwhelming... lifeless, disjointed animations; lots of entities just standing on the spot and doing nothing...
This discrepancy is particularly apparent to me personally as the first thing my friend showed me of the game was that mindblowing, animated launch trailer - frenetic combat, dazzling acrobatics, breathtaking set pieces. ACTION. And then when I came to see the game itself it was simply... well, him walking around and clicking on things. And pausing an awful lot. I was like, "Is this it?! Is this the game?!" But then basking in the light of twin suns surrounded by hundreds of giant breasts and double rainbows would probably be dull after a trailer that well made.
