Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light XBLA Online Co-op Patch Due October 27

3
Online co-op support for the Xbox Live Arcade edition of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, which was once due to be in the game at launch then in a patch on September 28, should finally arrive on October 27, developer Crystal Dynamics has Tweeted.

Crystal Dynamics also mentions that the first downloadable content pack will be free "to say thanks for your patience." Back when online co-op was due in September, the developer announced it'd be free but only for the first thirty days--presumably they feel a bit guiltier now. Five downloadable content packs are planned, three offering "all new puzzle, exploration and combat experiences" in new areas and two character packs.

Crystal Dynamics is still vague on when similar patches will be released for the PC and PS editions, which launched six weeks after the XBLA version, saying only that they're "coming later" and to "stay tuned."

      ^^this.
Even if they do hit that date, they've made it just in time for me to stop caring and be buried by the avalanche of other quality titles coming out.
