While many confirm the presence of a weekend with a podcast, you can also do so by checking for discounts on digitally-distributed PC games. Sales on Mass Effect 2 and Tales of Monkey Island, among others, mean yes, the weekend is definitely nigh.

Our roundup of the Cybernet's top deals also includes savings on Street Fighter IV, Mount & Blade: Warband and oh so much more, collected for you, dear Shacker.

Tales of Monkey Island for $4.99 is a steal. (It's actually 86% off, not 50.)

I bought the physical "Deluxe Edition" directly from Telltale back when they had it on sale (Talk Like A Pirate Day I think the sale was for), it only just got shipped yesterday. But I just picked it up on Steam as well :D

You know you could have download the episode on telltale's website even though you bought a physical edition?

Yeah, got the serial key with an email. I just decided to wait 'till it arrives, got plenty of stuff to play already.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Monkey Island episodes. They get better as they go on, too. Early ones they tend to re-use too much of the landscape/scenery.

Man, 5 bucks. I can't believe these these sold so bad they're practically giving them away for free. They're worth so much more.

I'm pretty sure that these actually sold well and became Telltale's best selling series to date.

Whoops! It's easy to slip up on the odd percentage when faced with such a long list. Cheers.
