For the week of October 11, select Mass Effect 2 add-on and Avatar content will be discounted, including the Overlord and Kasumi Stolen Memory DLC packs. Major also revealed that fan voting has determined the late-October deal, discounting add-on content for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for the week of October 18.

Also, next Tuesday will see the release of the second--and probably last--DLC for Alan Wake. "The Writer" is priced at 560MS Points ($7) and will continue the story, already extended in the original "Signal" downloadable content. With all that content, it shouldn't be too difficult to spend 2400MS Points in order to receive the previously announced 800MS Points rebate in the month of October.
