A new trailer for the upcoming Castlevania: Lords of Shadow features just about every classic enemy you can think of: werewolves, vampires, and even Death guest star in this video. If that isn't enough for you, faeries, angels, and--the most harrowing of all--giant chess boards make an appearance.

Dubbed as a "Hideo Kojima Special Edition Preview," the trailer for Castlevania's Xbox 360 and PS3 HD-retail debut has everything but the kitchen sink thrown in for good measure. We expect an extended version of the trailer featuring the menacing stainless steel adversary to see release any day now.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow hits the Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 5.

  This is Castlevania, where Cthulhu, norse gods, japanese spirits, movie characters (Orlock), and demons all inhabit Dracula's castle. Nothing new about that.
